Similarly, Resident #27, who is cognitively intact and responsible for his own decisions, was transferred multiple times without receiving the required notification. Resident #45, admitted with a diagnosis of Malignant Neoplasm of Glottis, also did not receive a bed-hold notice during hospital transfers. Interviews with Social Services and the Administrator revealed a lack of awareness and implementation of the policy, leading to the deficiency.
