Summary
The facility failed to provide reasonable accommodations for a resident's needs by not ensuring that the over-bed light could be turned on and off by the resident at will. During an interview and observation, the resident reported being unable to reach the light switch string, which was found to be only about an inch long and out of reach. The Director of Nursing confirmed during an observation that the light string was not accessible to the resident.
