Summary
A deficiency occurred when a resident with a history of depression and scoliosis was physically abused by another resident who had a history of stroke. According to the facility's investigation, the incident took place when the resident awoke early in the morning to find the other resident in their room. Upon attempting to stand, the resident was pushed back onto the bed by the other resident, who then held the door shut from the outside.
