Summary
Trash dumpsters outside the kitchen backdoor were observed with open lids, and an additional trash container containing used gloves, a hairnet, and a cigarette butt was found without a lid. These observations were made during a concurrent observation and interview with the Head of the department, who confirmed the lids were open. The Registered Dietitian also confirmed that open dumpsters and trash cans near the kitchen could attract flies, which could enter the kitchen when the back door was opened.
