Summary
Surveyors observed that the facility failed to ensure all garbage and refuse containers, specifically the outside dumpster used for kitchen and facility waste, were kept covered when not in use. On two separate occasions, the dumpster located outside the back entrance of the kitchen was found to be full of garbage and left uncovered. Interviews with the Maintenance Director confirmed that all facility garbage, including kitchen trash, is disposed of in this dumpster.
