The SSD stated it was her responsibility to ensure the residents were seen by the podiatrist and that the facility should have paid for the toenail trimming when the podiatrist last visited the facility. The SSD stated she had forgotten to schedule another podiatry appointment for the two residents. The DON and Administrator stated the facility was responsible for providing the care and services the residents needed, and the Administrator stated both residents should have been seen by podiatry.
