The clinical record for R44 also lacked evidence of a bed hold notice being provided at the time of transfer. Administrative Staff A acknowledged that the bed hold policy was not discussed with R44's family, and the necessary paperwork was not completed. This failure to provide the required notices placed both residents at risk of being uninformed about their bed-hold rights and potentially impaired their ability to return to the facility.
