The Director of Nursing stated that tube feeding should be held for residual amounts over 100ml and if the resident needs to lay flat during care. However, the DON was unaware of the interaction between Levothyroxine and the ingredients in Jevity 1.5, which contain soy and milk, and stated they would need to consult with the pharmacy regarding this issue.
