Both the DON and the Scheduler were unaware that the computer system was combining census and staffing data for both units, leading to the erroneous postings. The Administrator was informed of the issue by the DON and acknowledged that the posted nurse staffing information had been incorrect. The Administrator confirmed that the posted nurse staffing should be updated daily and whenever changes occur. The failure to correctly post and update the nurse staffing information led to significant discrepancies in the reported census and actual staff working hours, affecting the accuracy of the facility's records.
