Staff confirmed that the concern was documented on a grievance form and brought to a managers' meeting the following day. However, the administrator acknowledged that the grievance was not logged on the facility's Grievance/Complaint log, and there was no investigation or corrective action taken regarding the complaint. Review of the facility's grievance policy revealed that grievances are required to be logged, investigated, and resolved promptly, with communication to the complainant. These steps were not followed in this instance.
