Summary

The facility failed to ensure that nurse staffing data was posted daily as required. During an observation, the Daily Nursing Staffing Form displayed was found to be dated several days prior, rather than reflecting the current date. Interviews with the DON and Staffing Coordinator revealed that the Staffing Coordinator was responsible for posting the report on weekdays, while the Weekend Receptionist handled this task on weekends. The Staffing Coordinator reported that she prepared the weekend reports in advance for the Receptionist to post each day.
