Summary
The facility failed to ensure that garbage dumpsters located behind the kitchen were kept covered, as required by facility policy. On two separate observations, one and then all three dumpsters were found with their lids completely open to the environment, containing disposable garbage bags and not properly secured. The Dietary Manager confirmed the observations and acknowledged the importance of keeping dumpster lids closed.
