Summary
The facility failed to maintain smoke barrier doors in compliance with NFPA 101 standards. During an observation on February 3, 2025, it was noted that the smoke barrier doors between the Main building and the East building on the fourth floor did not self-close and latch as required. This deficiency affected two out of twenty-six smoke compartments. The issue was confirmed through an interview with the Facility Administrator and Maintenance Director on the same day.

0374 1. The smoke barrier doors between the main building and east building on the fourth floor were corrected. 2. An ongoing audit is conducted and reviewed by the Director of maintenance or Designee to assess doors across the campus to ensure they latch to their frame.
