The Director of Social Services indicated that the admissions team was responsible for issuing bed hold notices, while the Director of Nursing stated that staff should document the resident's or responsible party's decision regarding a bed hold in the medical record. The Administrator expected staff to follow the facility's policy and procedures related to bed hold notification.
