Staff E was unable to locate any documentation of a bed hold being provided, and the Director of Nursing Services confirmed that there was no bed hold documentation for Resident 33, although there should have been. This failure to provide the required bed hold notices placed the residents at risk for lack of knowledge regarding their right to hold their bed while hospitalized, potentially diminishing their quality of life.
